BARIATRIC + GLP-1 NUTRITION COACHING
Get unstuck with a plan built around you.
You already know the bariatric basics. But if your weight has stalled, hunger and food noise feel louder, or you keep trying to “get back on track” without getting anywhere, you may not need more information.
You may need help figuring out what matters most right now.
No pouch resets. No extreme rules. No starting over every Monday.
You know a lot about what you “should” be doing.
Does This Sound Familiar?
✓ Your weight has been stalled for months or you’ve started regaining.
✓ Hunger, cravings, or food noise feel stronger than they used to.
✓ You find yourself grazing or snacking even when you aren’t physically hungry.
✓ Your portions feel different now and you aren’t sure what is “normal.”
✓ You know a lot about bariatric nutrition, but applying it consistently to real life is the hard part.
✓ You keep trying to tighten things up, only to end up back in the same cycle.
✓ You’re tired of feeling like eating less is always the answer.
You don’t need more bariatric rules or more willpower.
You need a strategy.
After surgery, things change. Hunger may return. Portions can increase. Food noise and cravings can get louder. And the routines that felt easy early on can become harder to maintain once real life comes back into the picture.
That doesn’t automatically mean you need to eat less or become more restrictive.
In private coaching, we look at the whole picture, identify your biggest opportunities, and decide what deserves your attention first.
What needs attention. What can wait. What to focus on next.
WHAT WE’LL WORK ON
A clear framework for getting you unstuck.
Depending on your needs, our work may include:
Restoring your eating rhythm
Build enough structure to prevent the cycle of under-eating, intense hunger, and grazing later.
Build meals that actually satisfy you
Use protein, fiber, carbs, fats, and satisfaction strategically without relying on stricter rules.
Understand hunger, cravings + food noise
Identify what’s driving the urge to eat so you can respond to the actual problem.
Make it work in real life
Create systems for workdays, weekends, restaurants, travel, and unpredictable weeks.
What if eating after bariatric surgery didn’t feel so complicated?
Know what to focus on instead of trying to fix everything.
Have a plan for busy days before you’re starving at 4 p.m.
Understand what’s behind hunger, grazing, or food noise.
Handle restaurants, travel, or stressful weeks without feeling like you have to start over.
The goal isn’t to become perfect at bariatric eating.
It’s to build a strategy you actually know how to use.

I’m Megan Moore, RDN, CD, a registered dietitian specializing in bariatric nutrition. For more than a decade, I’ve helped bariatric patients navigate stalls, regain, changing hunger, food noise, and the challenges that show up years after surgery.
I’m also the author of The Complete Bariatric Cookbook and Meal Plan and a national speaker on bariatric nutrition and weight management.
My approach is practical, evidence-informed, and built around one idea:
You shouldn’t have to become more restrictive every time progress slows.

FAQ
-
No. Private coaching can be helpful if your weight has stalled, you’ve started regaining, you’re struggling with hunger or food noise, or you simply feel like the strategies that worked earlier after surgery aren’t working as well anymore.
-
No. Food tracking can be useful in certain situations, but it isn’t required. We’ll use the tools that give us useful information without creating unnecessary work or stress.
-
Our work focuses on creating an eating structure and meal strategy you can maintain long-term. We’ll talk through specific meals, snacks, portions, and practical food ideas based on your needs and preferences. If you offer your separate custom meal-plan service, this would also be a good place to mention it.
-
Private coaching is self-pay. HSA/FSA cards may be used, and superbills may be available for clients who want to submit to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage is determined by the individual insurance plan.
-
Yes. Coaching can incorporate nutrition considerations related to GLP-1 medications alongside your bariatric history and current goals.
-
Many weight-loss programs are designed for the general population, not for life after bariatric surgery. My approach is bariatric-specific and focused on more than giving you a plan. We work together to implement it, troubleshoot challenges, and navigate the habits and patterns that can make long-term change difficult.
-
That depends on where you’re starting and what we’re working on. Many clients notice improvements in structure, hunger, confidence, or consistency within the first few weeks, while weight changes can take longer. We’ll focus on the changes most likely to move you forward and adjust as we learn what your body responds to.
Because every client’s starting point, goals, medical history, and level of support needed are different, I don’t promise a specific weight-loss outcome. What I can tell you is that this isn’t a generic plan you’re expected to figure out on your own. We work together to identify what’s keeping you stuck, focus on the highest-impact changes, and adjust as needed so you have the best chance of making meaningful, sustainable progress.
