Helping bariatric surgery patients eat more to lose weight

IT ALL STARTED WHEN…

After working in amazing Seattle-based bariatric clinics for 7 years, I was surprised to learn that not all bariatric surgery patients had access to the pre-and post-op care they wanted and deserved. That was when I knew I wanted to help as many people as possible on the post-op journey that would change their lives.

Megan Moore Bariatric Dietitian Nutritionist

Hi, I’m Megan!

I’m SO glad you’re here!

As a Registered Dietitian and bariatric nutrition expert. I started My Bariatric Dietitian to help bariatric patients during one of the most significant, and possibly overwhelming, times in their life. Since 2013 I have had the honor and joy of helping thousands of bariatric patients restore their health, energy, and confidence. My experience at Seattle's leading Bariatric, Metabolic, and Endocrine Center solidified my passion for helping surgery patients and has helped me gain the experience to become a Board Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management.

Despite many efforts towards a more empathetic and welcoming society, weight bias remains. While dealing with weight struggles throughout my own life, I can empathize with those who are looking for someone trustworthy and who makes them feel welcomed, heard, and respected.

As a dietitian, my goal is to help my clients build a balanced and positive relationship with food as they navigate their post-op lifestyle. The bariatric journey will look different for everyone and it’s important that we find what works best for you! While working together, I aim to be your navigator, coach, and cheerleader along the way- giving you direction, inspiration, hope, and celebrating YOU every step of the way.

Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! I’d love to connect with you!

Best,

Megan
